Fourth generation Oregonian, I was raised mostly in Portland and nurtured on a small farm in Clackamas. From a young age I loved growing food and my parents provided our family with a large garden – and horses and the occasional donkey and cow. My connection to all things in nature was cemented by lazy summers along the Sandy River.
My life has been filled with adventure, dance, music, theater, sailing, two children and ongoing education. I have worked in dentistry as a hygienist for 40 years, focusing on dentistry and whole body health. I attended and graduated from Bastyr University in 1995 in Naturopathic Medicine.
To be in one of the most naturally beautiful places on the planet and practice holistic medicine is a gift. I am honored to participate in the dental vans in this state organized by Medical Teams International and participate in the Skagit Homeless Project (awesome people). I am currently taking courses in Environmental Medicine and complementary cancer treatments. In my spare time I grow Iris, food, and have long walks with Tom Petty who is present in the practice and training to be a Therapy/Good Citizen dog.
